Introducing myself and my journal: Knowledge of ICTs and Women promotion to managerial positions

About Me:
I am a PhD candindate in Management (Management Information Systems). I am doing research in ICTs and Women in management. I am specifically looking at how ICTs can help in promotions of women to managerial positions in higher learning institutions.

I have a bachelors degree in Government and Pubib administration. I hold a Post graduate Diploma in Computer Science and a Masters degree in the same. I have very special interest in women because being one of them I have many experiences and many stories to tell about the challenges we face in all scopes of life! I have had very difficult times since I moved to the world of computer science where many think its a mans zone.

I would like to do everything at my best and see that women are moving closely with men if not faster yhan them! A dream I guess can be realised if women supported each other at all levels, something we as women lack at many times!

Empowering Women, especially the young who are our future generation

My Challenges:
My field is in computer Science and many find it hard to understand how the two are related!

My Vision for the Future:
To see women at par with men if not beyond the men!
