Introducing myself and my journal: Life is like this

About Me:
What to say? where to start about me? I ponder over the question. Does it not sound like a phylosphical question ? Really who am I ? Read a novel by Aldus Huxley "Island" a couple of years ago. The protagonist asks himself the same question. And then there is Richard Bach, in "Illusion" delving into the same realm about one man's journey in life as a reluctant messiah and the other man, narrating the story, Donald Simoda faces the same question but he is assured that the answer will change with time and situation. So, as a human being I am a middle age man, presently residing at Lucknow far from my small family of my wife and only daughter, light of my eyes. What to do, for a comfortable livehood of your most loved ones, u have to compromise and sacrifice some of your joy and happiness. U may ask, in that case why I did'nt keep them with myself. 'cos I am with a construction company and very frequently I have to move from Kanyakumar to Srinagar, Kashmir. I can't mess up my daughter's education for my own pleasure, can I dear? But let me tell u, why I joined this forum. To answer a simple question. Somebody asked whether there is english translation of the book "Pather Panchali" and somebody answered that there is a movie by satyajit ray only. But I think, most probably there is english translation of the book by Harper Collins. I said most probably because so far I can recollect, there was a review in The Telegraph. So, please forgive me if I am wrong.
