Introducing myself and my journal: The Educated villager

About Me:
I am a young lady in late twenties, currently a Msc. Biotechnology student at a local university. I strongly believe that Biotechnology as a branch of science can be used to alleviate poverty experienced by local communities here in Kenya. I aspire to train the young people, especially ladies, who have no tertiary education, the basic Biotech skills that they can use to be self sufficient.

My Passions:
Teaching salsa. Demystifying science, volunteering in Rotaract activities

My Challenges:
Convincing girls that Science is not only for boys. That Education is important.

My Vision for the Future:
To live in a world where a person is defined by their character and not by their social status, race, tribe, education,gender......

My Areas of Expertise:
proposal writing, public relations, team building training, molecular biology, salsa,
