Introducing myself and my journal: VOICES OF WOMEN WORLDWIDE

About Me:
Print-photo journalist from India living in New York, and moved into digital/HD video journalism since 2001, with first film MISTAKEN IDENTITY - discovering next door neighbors around the world. It won three first prizes for best film, best director and best producer in three separate American Film Festivals within six months of its official release.

Enjoy promoting women and men who cannot financial publicity and promote their inspirational and innovative life-styles as unique role models through print articles, photographs and video interviews. For the past ten years, I enjoy working with the younger generation in producing films and videos, inviting them to become involved as scriptwriters, producers, directors and negotiators in distribution on a global scale. Recently, I had my first "culture shock" and am focusing on "Empowering the Girl-Child: Against Child Marriages" where we are working on a powerful script to "inform and educate young people about their rights towards working towards their personal dignity in life ..."

My Passions:
Filming women political leaders as role models for the younger generation ....

My Challenges:
Greatest challenge is to negotiate as a business woman and not a sensitive woman refusing major financing to perserve personal dignity at offensive contractual agreements of greed ...

My Vision for the Future:
Capturing the spirituality on film that is moving across Planet Earth ...

My Areas of Expertise:
As a veteran woman filmmaker with expertise in 16/35mm to new ever-changing digital/HD video
