Introducing myself and my journal: Women's Councils: Food + Farms + Democracy

About Me:
Here it is 2014, and I am now 63 -- just about ready to do what I think I came here to do.

"Here" is the Chicago area, Cook County, Illinois, the "Midwest" Great Lakes area of the U.S. -- the Heartland.

What I came here to do is to:
Participate in and facilitate Women's Councils on Food + Farms + Democracy. This means getting specific about "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" -- every meal, every day, every decision, every place, every generation, every species.

Specifically, this means to participate in a major course correction of the American Revolution and the writing of the U.S. Constitution, from which all women were excluded -- including Mother Earth.

With the help of the World Wide Web and Women Weaving the Web, my goal is to:

Be part of a year-long NATIONAL BOOK CLUB to:
A. Read the U.S. Constitution

B. Draft amendments that would
1. Restore all U.S. people and land to right relationship, in terms of
Food -- basic survival needs
Farms -- access to land, space, place
Democracy -- self-representation
2. Identify the powers and responsibilities of women to maintain right relationship
3. Identify the mechanism(s) by which women will implement those powers and responsibilities

C. Initiate Constitutional Conventions in every U.S. state to pass the amendment(s)

My Passions:
Knowledge, networking, clear thinking, clear communication, balance

My Challenges:
Finding colleagues, finding income, finding my true spiritual voice

My Vision for the Future:
Women, girls, and the Earth relieved of all self-doubts and burdens not of their choosing

My Areas of Expertise:
Networking, action-oriented communications, food-and-farm policy, coalition-building
