Introducing myself and my journal: Writing for Change

About Me:
I am an Indonesian psychologist currently residing in the US. I am a cofounder, first Coordinator and currently International Director for PULIH Center for Trauma Recovery and Psychosocial Intervention Indonesia. We work with communities, families and individual survivors of violence and disasters. My experience has been in developing community based programs for affected communities, designing referral systems for Gender Based Violence (including training community members on befriending survivors and involving community leaders), and working with Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees. I also have experience in training TV journalists in sensitive reporting traumatic incidents. I love writing- including journal writing and sharing experiences amongst practitioners working with women around the world.

My Passions:
Working with communities in empowering themselves, positive psychology, discovering people's resilience.
