This time i am going to share stories from my career life. I have many previous jobs and in different fields. The common thing about all of them is the laziness from most of the Egyptian workers and this includes males and females as well. Whether they are working in governmental institutions or NGO or private sector, no big difference at all, working there is just about slow steps and much talk as if we are in hollywood and making very very nice stories for films !

I thought that it was about bribes and corruption when it comes to lazy public officers or if in the best case scenario that there is no motivation and no rewards for such type of jobs as it is mainly about how long have you been an officer so that you can get promoted no matter how do you do your job !

Then when i joined NGO's field, i thought that it might be related to its senstivity or the international relations or international policy or maybe politics ! But it doesnt really seem that way neither !

And even in many private sectors( not really all of them) there is the same lazy mentality!

It is just Egyptian culture that what i wasnt really realizing and wasnt really prepared for and never was raised up like that !

Sometimes i feel that i am becoming like them or i am the one who has the problem, like how do i want all of these work to be done by the workers who are supposed to be doing it !

Plus the ideology of blaming others !

That's all beside the attitude of : leaving the hard tasks for other hard working colleagues !

This doesnt mean to disrespect the personal life time or vacations , the problem is that that's all during the working hours.... The laziness, blaming others, the irresponsibility...

I dont really feel that it can be solved as such attitude is from all the positions as long as it is Egyptian education !
