Warm cloth distribution in a remote Primary school
Every year in Bangladesh, the harsh winter claims the lives of over 100 children and adults, with countless others suffering due to a lack of proper clothing. In the northern regions, January brings the coldest days of the year, and many children are unable to attend school simply because they do not have warm clothes to protect themselves from the freezing temperatures.
At Sombhabona, we have been working tirelessly to change this reality. For the past 13 years, we have distributed warm clothes to underprivileged children, ensuring they can stay healthy and continue their education during the winter months. This year marks our 14th campaign, and we aim to distribute 5,000 warm garments to children in need.
We believe in the power of collective action. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these children, giving them not just warmth but also the opportunity to pursue their education and dreams.
