Jon Benét Ramsey was a six year old pageant girl who captured not only her loved ones around her but also an audience full of admirers and people who could not get enough of her sweet charm and natural flur for pageantry. It was obvious she was not only going get the attention of people she was also going to be a shinning star as a pageant queen when she grew up. As young as she was she had it!

The tragic incident occurred at her home where she was brutally murdered one christmas evening, December 26, 1996. Mystery creeping into their household, questions leaving clues and uncertainty. A dark night leading to an unexpected turn that would change the lives of her parents forever and ultimately shake the whole nation. Jon Benét was found by her father in the basement under a blanket dead. She had been beaten and strangled; a tape around her mouth and a cord that tied her hands. According to autopsy there were signs of rape. However the police failed to preserve the crime scene after instructing her father to remove her from the basement. Soon her parents became suspects in her death. Due to her parents refusing to be part of investigations the process of time created an impression, her parents ere her killers.

The case of Jon Benét still haunts her parents and those who truly care about the six year old. Although investigations still go on, questions still linger in the air.
