Just a quick 'hi there' to my sister citizen journalists as we begin or journey together

I am very excited that it has finally started!

I think it will be a lot of fun for us but also wanted to encourage woman if they feel a bit intimidated to start. I wrote mine before reading the others since I wanted it to reflect \"me\" and am kind of glad I did. I felt a bit intimidated and a sort of 'yikes, everyone is going to think I am an idiot\" after reading the others so wanted to write a quick thing to encourage everyone that needs it! Developing our self-esteem will be one of the good things about trying this, I think!

For some the words come easy when putting them 'on paper' like this and for us this is a good feeling to have this online journal. But the ones who are better at talking in person I wanted to offer encouragement since your voice and your ideas are ones we all want to read too! I have already said I think of my journal as my 'rough draft' so think of it as getting my idea out there to share and develop rather then the finished thoughts.

I look forward to reading everyone's journals and getting to know everyone else doing the \"voice of our future' thing so wanted to say a quick 'hi there!\" If there is enough interest maybe we can create an area where we can help each other if needed or offer our thoughts or whatever. I know I don't want to be the first to comment on others so maybe this is a way we can talk to each other about it.

It is kind of a nice feeling though, like taking my first step toward a better tomorrow!
