Knight News Challenge: Comment and help World Pulse Grow!

Dear PulseWire sisters and brothers,

We need your help! World Pulse submitted a proposal in the Knight News Challenge, an international media innovation contest. The challenge seeks projects that use the best of existing software and platforms, already integrated into people's lives, to find new ways to convey information.

Our proposal is focused on upgrading the WorldPulse.com platform to provide you—our incredible community of outspoken women leaders—with greater tools to broadcast your stories, needs, and solutions. This grant would allow us to incorporate the features you have asked for, including cell-phone reporting capabilities, multimedia functionality that doesn't slowdown your network, improved translation services, and increase the ability for readers, international publications and networks to access your writing and connect directly with you to support your vision.

The contest is running through March 17 on Tumblr, and we invite you to show your vocal support for our project by "liking" our submission and posting a comment on our proposal that expresses both your experience as a vocal participant in our online community, and how a major upgrade of our platform could improve your ability to report as a citizen journalist, network globally, or realize your vision for change. We ask that if you have any questions, please bring them to the World Pulse team via email or on PulseWire and refrain from asking questions on the Knight News Challenge Tumblr site.

Help us build a better WorldPulse.com and share your enthusiasm with the Knight News Challenge to help us win the contest!

Read our submission on Tumblr and leave your comment by March 17:

A BIG and HEARTFELT thanks to those of you who have already showed your support for us by liking or posting one of the many eloquent and moving comments, and to those of you who plan to!
