The failure of NGOs in East of the Congo

Analysis: For many of the organizations, which receive funds to help, the targeted people on ground end up actually earning nothing. These funds are kept at the level of the organizers/administrators, who end up reporting faulty representation of the situation to the donors through incorrect evidence. For example, the population of Walungu Kabare complains of the behavior of organizations working in this field. For example, Kamanyola the Pygmy People in Batwa state, that international organizations visit rungenge kamanyola, but there is no resolution and the people are still neglected and marginalized. Some questions rise up; who is using these funds? Who are the beneficiaries? What is the impact of these funds? We demand from these organizations to respect the commitment to land for sustainable development. One that is asset-based on fighting against poverty, reducing unemployment, catering to population needs. The response of the population is that this project has a political character of mining exploitation or exploration since nothing ends up changing despite the magnitude of NGOs on the ground.
