LETS MAKE THE PLANET GREEN AGAIN.

The world as we see it today is facing a lot of hazardous climate change which is as a result of our usual daily activities, knowingly and unknowingly. We take more than we give. We mine from its core, we cut down trees for different purposes, we tap from the solar energy, we eat from its abundance of plant. Look around you, how many trees can you see? Animals even go on extinction as a result of their habitat not being favorable. We live in an age where carbon monoxide is very abundant in the atmosphere, released through man- made inventions such as cars, generators, factories, power plants, non biodegradable materials, poor waste management, etc Trees actually play a very indispensable role in our lives. They fulfill our food, source of oxygen,fodder fuel, timber, fiber,medicinal needs, paper , clothes. They also help in mitigation of environmental pollution, some plants are also useful in noise control, restoration of degraded lands, removal of heavy metals from contaminated soil. They are also helpful in the maintenance of water level. It is however very vital, more than ever that trees fulfill their part in the environment and take some of the excess carbon emissions out of the air. With more carbon monoxide in the atmosphere, more of the sun rays/ radiation is being reflected back to earth. And why? It’s as a result of the ozone layer depletion. This causes our average temperature to rise, and also melts our poles. A bit of personal initiative can help start saving our ecosystem. We need to start somewhere of which I believe starts with you as an individual. It’s not that hard to figure out an eco friendly life. Let’s get more sensitized about our planet ,deforestation and afforestation. And also let’s see to it that the knowledge reaches our community at large, for both knowledge and information play a very important role here. ... Let’s put our hands together and save not just Nigeria, let’s save our home.
