Menstrual Hygiene Management



The Promoting Public and Social Development Programs in Health in collaboration with Ministry of Youth and Sports and support from UNFPA hosted a one-day advocacy meeting  with stakeholders on menstrual hygiene management for rural girls. This meeting was organized to engage decision makers  in a collected voices within the Tienii Tewor District of Grand Cape Mount County to take action in breaking the barriers and silence around menstrual hygiene management.



 This meeting  brought together one hundred (100)  representatives from traditional leaders, parents, adolescents, women groups, school Authorities, principal, teachers, youth groups, County Health Team (CHT), Religious leaders , Local Radio Station, Liberia National Police, youth leaders , and faith-based organizations to discuss their involvement and commitment in the implementation process of a six-months adolescent girl’s dignity project on menstrual hygiene management and skills building program.
