My birthday gift

A birthday is a day to give, or to receive? I decided that from this year on, it will be a day to give. It doesn't matter if or what I receive, I will give.

So my birthday present for the World Pulse community is a poemthat I have thought of this week, One that reflects all the feelings that have conveyed in me during the last three years.

By My Side

You have watched me grow

You were by my side.

You have loved me and made me happy

You were by my side.

For every time we became one

our pulses beat stronger

my dear World Pulse community,

my Home online.

You made me grow as a local leader

and now I come back to you to tell you

that all this time, we made it, we won.

Being away to speak up locally,

being together to speak to the world.

Two things that I could not do simultaneously,

that I will try again to never let you go.

My beautiful sisters awakened

My beautiful world experience

My bright future is here!

So much to gain,

Nothing to loose.

Let us get together

raise our voices

Let us make dictators fall

Let us make people win with their voices up

by taking slavery out!
