My Experience Breast Cancer Warrior

Here is a photo of me

Greetings Sisters. I am Moh Harriet from Cameroon. On world cancer day I was advised to see a doctor after a lump was detected in my left breast during screening. The lump had been there for more than 4 years but I never thought it was a problem. Two days later I started feeling excruciating pain on the breast which prompted me to go the hospital.

So, the doctor requested I go for breast biopsy which I did and the results said it's stage 2 breast cancer. I was sent to pallative care unit for counseling where I was told what chemotherapy entails. Due to inadequate finance at the moment , I can't push through with chemo. I can actually count the number of nights I have slept peaceful since then.

I currently depend on natural herbs, fruits and vegetables to manage the situation which is also expensive though not as much as chemo requires. However, I am here to request for any kind of support service I can get for my treatment.

I have learned that not all breast lumps are cancerous but we shouldn't trivalise any lump in the breast as it might result to breast cancer.

Also, I have come in contact with many women battling breast cancer. We have created a WhatsApp community where we share our challenges, encourage and support each other hoping to get assistance from persons of Good will.

Breast cancer is not a joke and the most we can do for warriors is to support them in the best way we can. It doesn't just affect our physical look but also our mental health.

Help me and other sisters in Cameroon beat cancer๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
