My road to womanhood

In my early primary years, I used to hear very many definitions of who a woman is  Some included "Worker Of Man And Nature, house keepers, born to be provided people. Some of these definitions would make me happy and others would make me feel so sad.

However, as I continue into the straight path to being a real woman, I have come to realize the true definition of woman. I have realized that being a woman is complicated and learning that being a woman, one must be as hard as a rock not to be easily broken, one must think like a man, act like a lady, look like a young girl and work like a horse.

Getting into womanhood hasn't been very simple to me because I was always pampered most times and I would not get the opportunity to think for myself and make personal decisions, I had low confidence, low self esteem. This is because I didn't have freedom to participate in leadership, and other public activities both in school and society. However, I left the secondary life and joined my tertiary institution, my life started changing and I started  practicing some of the things that would lift me up a bit.

Not only am I on the road to just being a mere woman but also am the road to being an elegant strong supportive woman through World Pulse.
