MY STORY

As I have already mentioned before that I belong to a society where women has to be demure, caring, submissive, silent but ironically I also belong to the world where women has to be dauntless as well.

So I am somewhat stuck at the middle. I am a girl with little tinch of demureness and higher amount of dauntlessness. I may be among very few such girls in my society and the reason behind so is my family. Actually, I am very luck to be the first child of my parents. My father is such an amazing person. And actually, he is my inspiration to apply in this program.

Today he is my hero for many reasons; he never let me feel that i am only a girl or a daughter. He always encouraged me for my entire decisions and even corrected me if i am wrong.

The greatest thing he did is educating my mother. When they got married my father had not completed even the secondary level studies but he gave her a chance to learn and explore the knowledge. Not only that he sent her far from our home to become a nurse for 3 years. We were very small kids i.e me, my brother and my sister. I was studying in grade 2 but still he took all the responsibilities of us and sent her far away just because he wishes his wife to be an educated and independent women.

I have seen him working so hard, making us clean, preparing food and washing clothes. Can u imagine such a male in this world at present? So, he is my hero and he has given me the voice to help many such helpless women in the world.
Love you baba.
