MY TISSUE FELL IN MY FATHER'S ROOM

I always wondered why my mother had a lot of pieced clothes during menstruation. I never saw her use sanitary pads. So it was my turn, the first day I saw my period, she bought me a pack of tissue instead of pads and when I run out of pads, she will suggest that I dismantle my unused skirt. I wasn't comfortable with the idea but who do I complain too? One evening, I went to lay my father's bed properly, unknowingly the tissue had cut into half and dropped off my pant in his bedroom. He beckoned on me when he entered his room and pointed to the floor "what is this?" he said. I was embarrassed as I quickly took it off the floor. My turning point was when sanitary pad was shared for free in college.
