MILIMO HARRIET MUNKOMBWE 



A child activist, social worker and entrepreneur, Milimo is best known for her charcoal and poultry business. Though Her career in the industry is less that 5 years, she has received , among others, The DLN youngest entrepreneur of the year award. She started with charcoal selling; she was criticized for doing it. But it is that charcoal business that opened doors for young Milimo Harriet Munkombwe of Lusaka.



After receiving a boost from Lusaka Mayor Miles Sampa who bought 61 bags of charcoal of charcoal for her and gave her money, Milimo expanded her business by venturing into poultry, another business which is doing well for her.



Despite not having much, Milimo is now out in communities making donations to make life easier for others through her foundation – Milimo Foundation.



“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.”
