PEACE IN (CENTRAL) AFRICA

English translation by community member LightMyWay.

Since the colonial era, Africa has encountered many difficult moments, very hard times during which she has suffered all manner of troubles, insults, thefts, massacres, slavery and even rape.

However, we Africans have been forced into a fight for peace and now all of Africa is on track for peace. We’re on the road to the place where peace resides. Some countries that were colonized are now independent but this raises a question: Has independence given us peace? Are we truly living in peace such as it should be?

Dear Africans in general, and fellow Congolese of the DRC in particular, this is the question for us all. For me, I just hope we find a solution because in my eyes peace is very far off in our beloved country, the DRC. War threatens, rape and violence continue, there is injustice, massacres continue, theft of goods belonging to Congolese citizens…. We’ve had enough!!! That’s why I can’t stand by calmly; I’ll do all I can to bring at least 1/100th % of peace to my dear country, the DRC, that I love so well. Imagine if we were united, we could reach 100% by fighting against the enemy of peace!!! Be with me, let’s fight against evil to achieve a lasting peace in our country.
