"Pull her along to achieve the first 5 SDG"

The joy of seeing our young teenage mothers going back to school cannot be quantified. During the school break because of the covid 19 pandemic, some of the girls in the basic schools became pregnant. The disappointment of parents, the humiliation these girls go through, the hopelessness in their situation and the frustration they go through amidst societal stigma leaves them in critical situation hence the need for a helping hand. A hand to support these girls, a hand to guide them, a hand to partner parents to get them back to school because their male counterpart who impregnated them are moving on with their lives. This is the challenge The Virtuous Pot decided to take and we are excited our first four sets of girls are in SHS 1. We are grateful to all those who helped us to pay their bills during delivery, catered for their basic needs to start school and aiding in taking care of their babies. To our teenage mothers, we say congrats for going back to school.
