Rafiki Club welcomes all daughters

Dear Rafiki,

Our sincere gratitude to all of you who have written in to be a part of this unique and empowering network of Friends. Your words of encouragement are our source of inspiration.

Many have written in to request if daughters or Young girls can join The Rafiki Club. Our response is YES they can! Girls are normally bypassed by development projects and for those of us who are mothers we know that it is our greatest responsibility to offer the strongest character of feminity to our children lest the cycle of gender inequality repeats itself in the generations to come. This is the best inheritance we can give to them.

Project Africa has a program for girls aged 8-18 who come to our mission houses for education and mentorship. currently the girls are learning basic computer skills and other skills all free of charge. The stars of Africa program soon to be called SiStars will be a perfect network for daughters who want to join the Rafiki Club.

We are glad that this engine of change is going to be a power house for all of us; mothers and daughters, young women and older women alike.

A big welcome to all the daughters.

Karibuni ( Swahili word meaning welcome)
