Re-opened Unsolved Cold Case File📑✅🗂 -2004

On April 3rd 2004 Alonzo Brooks attended a house party outside of La Cygne, Kansas.He was driven to the party by a friend of his however he never returned home. He was said to have a minor altercation with another person's at the party however he still had a good time. According to his friends account a friend of a friend was given the responsibility to drive him home but they never did. He never returned home. The evening he went missing Alonzo Brooks was one of only three Black men in a crowd at the party. Upon his disappearance the next day the family called a County's Sherif Department that launched a search for Alonzo around the Farmhouse and parts of the nearby Middle Creek. There were no results.

He was found a month later, family and friends organized their own search and found Alonzo Brook's decomposed body within an hour lying on top of a pile of brush in the creek bed.

Years have passed to be precise eighteen Years. There has been no charge, no arrest and no answers for what exactly happened to him.

The FBI is now launching a hate crime awareness campaign shinning the light on the cold case murder of Alonzo Brooks. The Campaign has been running from October 1st and will end November 30th.
