To my Audience of One

I ran this 5k on the island of Dominica, some years ago, it was an uphill climb, the further I went the steeper it got, but my impromptu coach kept urging me not to stop, mind you I wasn't in the best of shape but determined to finish

I had never done hills before, if you know DA it was more like mountain s,

If I didn't have the support I know I would have taught of quitting  at some point..

When I felt like my energy was sapped I recieved a boost of energy from a bottle of glucose and I reached the peak, I felt so accomplished, heading back down wasn't any easier but the finish line was my ultimate goal I eventually crossed it.. One thing my coach never quit on me.

It always reminds me of this race called life, if you take on task you have never done before, go after your goals ,seek to accomplish something although you don't have the means , it's never easy, it's an up ward climb, but eventually you will reach that goal and the journey won't seem so bad after all you will get to that finish line. You may not have a thousand people cheering you on, but there always that one who believes in you, even when you don't believe you can do it.

Trust God to be that one and to send that one, stay on course, don't be focused on those finishing ahead of you, your race is your own.
