Second Chance

Back in 2020 when COVID struck was when everything went left. I was enrolled in the Jomo Kenyatta University in a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. All my life, I’ve been performing excellently through hard work and have always been assured that my future is secured. However, when COVID struck, my parents lost their jobs and I was still a teenager. Right after the country was opened, it became impossible for my parents to fund my education and as a result, I had to figure out my life and gig-work just to put food on the table. I have a strong desire to proceed with my education and change the lives of not only my family but also Kenya and the entire world. Given the opportunity, I will be eternally grateful.
