She the Pwr - A Social Initiative

She the Pwr is a social initiative that is driven towards enhancing the representation of women in each and every one of the distinct spheres of society through the means of education, awareness, and advocacy. We want to contribute towards the creation of a culture that is supportive of women, one that celebrates individuality and distinctness as opposed to the societal categorization of the normative woman. We, at She the Pwr, work towards harboring an environment devoid of discrimination. We specifically aim to provide a liberal space for stories to be woven, ideas to be articulated, and experiences to enable impacts. Our objective focuses on the recreation of the historical and patriarchal worldview by a reclaiming of narratives. 

We, at She the Pwr, aim to provide a platform to educate and spread awareness regarding issues of gender discrimination as well as sexist manipulations that govern the society. Through the means of this platform, we aim to contribute towards the curbing of stigmas and taboos surrounding women's issues. With the past being proof of women’s strength, ferocity, and brute bravery, we believe in celebrating our victories over oppression to fuel our collective power against gendered oppression.   

Resonating with our core ideology to enhance the spectrum of opportunities for women, our initiatives would include the following:

• A mentor-mentee program. So as to provide young women with a safe space and to cater to their individual requirements, we strive to provide the guidance of a mentor on various aspects, such as career building and opportunities, lifestyle choices, and life governing mannerisms, as well as education, among many other aspects. 

• A collaboration with distinct voices. We aim to harbor a supportive community for individuals to share their experiences, aspirations, and well as struggles which would enhance a rippling effect in a vocalization that the patriarchal society tries to suppress by silencing women.

• A distinguished program for the education, empowerment, and equipment of young girls. In an effort to transform the world of tomorrow and enable the ideology of inclusivity, we aim to hold seminars on topics such as design thinking, agile thinking, digital literacy, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and many other such developmental skills which work towards the holistic development of an individual.

To defeat sexist ideologies, grotesque violence, and gendered oppression, all of which currently inhabit the social structure that we live in, we, at She the Pwr, strive to build a community to inculcate a stronghold of solidarity. We believe that the collective chorus of our voice will rise against orthodox power structures that incarcerate women in the image of a mere object. We are driven towards collaborating a space to promote a vocalization of stories and an actualization of dreams by supporting and standing together with one another.

With our mission of the distinct advocacy of women's rights and the necessity of articulation, we, at She the Pwr, believe that through a strong will and determination the ability to transcend societal dogma resides in all of us when we join hands together. Through the course of our journey, our means resides in a constant iteration and re-iteration of a distinguished free will towards the course of one's life that we aim to promote and provide, one that is devoid of any gendered label that society attempts to brand.

Through this effort we want to empower young women to be future leaders and change-makers, and also to see an increase in the female representation in business, politics, and male-dominated fields.
