She's got Grit

                                      And they said, “Sorry”

She went for a pee

There was a leak

But she thought it was just a wee

She went back to sleep in a swift

Then, she felt a drift

Yet, she thought it was just a shift

She carried on as normal

Though in deep thoughts

Wondering what's about to happen

Then Dr. Google played the trick

The clock started to tick

While she drove to work

She pondered about the what ifs

Her mind was in a wonder

She was in a ponder

If history was going to repeat itself

Yet, she drove

Because life has to continue

No matter what

She went for a pee again

There she was in disbelief

‘Brown Hot chocolate found’!!

Which is not supposed to happen

Not During this period, anyway

As if it was all ok

SHE walked out, over and round the building

Making sure no one was alarmed.

Upon Examination

They looked at each other

Without altering a word

But she knew the meaning of that look

She knew what they were going to say

When she walked over

All she said was

“Sorry".

With eyes closed,

Breath held, memory lane revisited

12 years back, same words

        “Sorry”

Explanations given

Decisions made

Another pee she went

1, 2, 3 steps

There, right there in the middle of the room

It all happened

Heaven broke loose

She swiftly turned around in panic

She thought someone just poured a bucket of water down her

    Behold!

In amazement and shock

Her precious, jealously protected bucket of water had just leaked down her legs

She cried, she wept

On her knees, she begged Him above to reverse the situation

As you see, it was way too late

The deed was already done

Her life was never going to be the same again

Initially, she thought she couldn't live after this

But, look, she lives

She smiles though through tears

With a broken heart

However, not broken

Why?

Because “She’s got Grit".
