Speaking Up for Our Common Future #ShiftThePower

Greetings and good morning World Pulse members,

A little more than a week ago, I posted my initial response. Since then so much has happened - some good and some not so good. Focusing on the positive - the UN High Level Political Forum (HLPF) has opened in New York. Many on this platform may already have contributed to the discussions that will be taking place, and I recommend for those who haven't and want to #ShiftThePower, the HLPF will be listening for your inputs.

Its theme this year: ‘Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: The effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions,’ HLPF 2024 will hold in-depth reviews of five Goals – SDG 1 (no poverty), SDG 2 (zero hunger), SDG 13 (climate action), SDG 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions), and 17 (partnerships for the Goals).
