I have been experiencing discrimination of rural single mothers affected by HIV/AIDS by local authorities and other surrounding people. The main reason is poverty which makes them be stigmatized. It is very chocking to see mothers being discriminated by those who would help them overcome those plights.
I have undertaken the initiatives of sensitization and awareness session to the single mothers and later on I will start advocacy to make sure those mothers are saved from this social discrimination.
