TAWOMA PROFILE
Created in August 1997 and registered in November 1997 with registration Number 9280.



Mission, TAWOMA is essentially the policy advocate wing for women in mining in view of mainstreaming gender and improving the Economic Status of all women in the Mining Industry and particular small scale miners



Vision: The existence of Mining Sector where gender and racial imbalances do not exist and promote access to resources for the sustainable development for the mining knows no limits



Membership: TCCIA, TWCC, TPSF, ABC and CASM



Objectives Serve as an effective analyst and advocate of the common interest of women miners and mining community to the government on policy issues and other constraints faced by women in the mining sector
