THE EMPOWERMENT OF IDP WOMEN IN KUMBA

In commemoration of this year's International Day of the Girl Child, Girlability interviewed some girls turned women as a result of rape, to identify current needs.  Findings gathered showed that these young women are unable to feed their children as a result of displacement due to conflict within the country.  To empower these young girls-turned women's fight to survive displacement, Girlability is providing them with skills training \" THE EMPOWERMENT OF IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) WOMEN\". This Soap Production Training will be held on October 9 and 10 at the Women Empowerment Center Kumba - Cameroon.

The excitement is on, as all registered women look forward to the opportunity to start their own small-scale soap business.

Prayers is all we need, as we generously thank all our donors for supporting this course.
