The least interesting subject to men

Story
In India, especially in South India, menstruation is not just a physical nuisance but a matter very much bothering, as it is considered polluting and we are not allowed to stay in the main part of the house, nor allowed to go to any Hindu temple. With this as the commanding order, our girls are not supposed to talk about it in public. Any suggestion to make will be in secrecy. With this in the background, Covid-19 has done the greatest damage. The families in lock down depending on the government dole of meager Rs. 1000 per month (USD 14) sanitary napkins are of no importance. The girls were forced to go back to old system of using old clothes. We sensed it and have supported them with enough sanitary napkins even without asking for it by any specific girl since some of them will not even ask for it due to shyness and the religious secrecy I told you about. We were holding small group discussion among girls about how menstruation is not one that we need to shy about, but be proud of. We hope soon this small group interactions will increase and change the mood.
