THE LIFE CHANGING OPPORTUNITIES THAT THE INTERNET WEAVED IN MY LIFE

I have learnt a lot of life changing lessons from the Internet.I have managed to study from high school up to University through the internet.I am a high performer and the internet has enabled to do a lot of research for my MBA and I passed very well due to the many resources I got from the internet.

In terms of business opportunities, I have benefited and am still benefiting a lot from the internet.In 2012, I wanted to start Microfinance operations and through the Linkedlin social network of professionals I researched about how to start a microfinance company.I got lots of valuable information from this network which enabled me to get 90% of the information which was required by the Central Bank of Zimbabwe for the registration process of the microfinance.Through the social network I managed to get 2 regional and international board members for the Microfinance which is called Intelligent Business Consultancy in Zimbabwe.I got a very influential and qualified professional from Zambia and a very experienced microfinance practitioner from India who are currently on our Board of directors.These two members are helping our microfinance in great ways and it is growing due to their immense contributions all because of the internet.

I have also managed to get connected to another microfinance consultant who is now getting me connected regionally and internationally so that I get more exposure and learn a lot on Microfinance and capacity building for enterprise development.I am currently working a consultants profile for a big project which we are about to embark on all because of internet connections.

Our own website www.ibc.co.zw which was launched late in 2013 is bringing us a lot of business and has put us on the map and it is enhanced our branding and marketing.

I am growing in business and intellectually all because of the internet.
