The Teacher of Change.

I am a teacher and I have taught for 14 years and it's very sad to see how parents neglect their wards especially the girl child. No study materials for learners and even not providing sanitary pads for their teenage girls. These things have affected our teaching and learning drastically. As a teacher of Change,knowing that my job is a sacrificial work I took it upon my self to purchase books and some study materials to my learners, pads , sow school uniforms just to calm the situation with my own money. Teenage girls endulge in pre-marital sex which results in teenage pregnancies because they can't afford the purchase of sanitary pads. They engage in sexual activities with Okada boys to buy sanitary pads. I realized, my initiative worked so I extended it to five communities in my district.

I want to say that Condoms should be sold because sex is a choice and Sanitary pads should be free because menstruation is never a choice.

I thereby ask people to help me nurture this initiative to grow to minimize Teenage Pregnancy in my area. Help me with some study materials(books, pens, maths sets, schools bags, shoes etc) to help learners study for teachers to achieve their teaching and learning outcomes For they say, Education is the backbone of every Community.
