The true potential of women



Can you imagine that women can do the men's job and even more? I already knew that you have a different perspectives about this enquire. But let me narrate you a real story about a wonderful Somali woman who woke up her potential and realized her dreams. 



Long time ago, there was a little girl. She was born in a rural area with her family.  She inhabited there until she became ten years old. When she reached at the age of ten, she decided to go to the town. Then she came and lived with her maternal aunt. At early age, she decided to work in order to help her family. She set out to work for a family. After working a period of time, that family loved her as they treat her like their daughters. They appreciated her kindness, open-minded, consideration, and hardworking. She always used to do her job the best way. The money she earns from that job, she used to send her family. 



After a while with her majurity years, she met a man who was little older her. He loved her because with the values, respect, good character and shyness he saw from her behaviour, so he told that he wanted to marry her. Then she told him to meet her family especially her father and asks her hand. He met with her family particularly her father and asked her hand. Eventually he succeeded to marry her. They lived together in a happy live with standing beside each other and faced every challenge together. God blessed them with three daughters and a son. After a little time, her husband got ill and he was sick for few months. Then he died while she was pregnant. Two months later she gave birth to twins, a daughter and a son. Afterwards of ten days even without any recovery of the delivery, she initiated to go out to work to provide her children for their needs since she didn't have anyone who stood beside her . Neither her family nor her husband's family helped her because both of them were in rural and poor people. It was extremely tough time for her to work for many reasons but, she strived and she never gave up. She was courageous woman and even she didn't have any other option to the daily life of her children. She wasn't even literate and it was very hard to get an easy job, but with her commitment she determined to work and not beg her beers. She began to sell salt and tomato near the streets of the market where the wheather was very hot as she had no shadow. She underwent that challenging situations, she didn't surrender  instead. She kept enduring such difficult situations because her goal was bigger than those tough situations and her intention was to bring up her children and offer them with whatever they needed.



With her strong willingness she kept going and worked day in day out in order to make her children learn and have a better future.



Relying upon God and her effort she was capable of providing her children for education and with dedication, determination and hardwork, she realized to grew her children up and teach them until they reach and finish the best universities in Somalia. While she was undergoing these various challenges, her children knew that their mother was suffering from the huge responsibilties. They learned their mothr's determination  the worthwhile of life, she became a role model and real examle for her children.
