The Woman in me

This is who I really am,

My name is Charmaine Tserema, born and bred in Soweto South Africa. I am a third born to my parents and all in all we are six, three brothers and three sisters. I grew up having dreams hoping I will be very far in life by now but things turned out differently for me and that made people think they have a right to disrespect me. When my father passed on in 2006 I automatically became the families breadwinner and my life took a turn of one challenge to the other, but then I kept on praying for strength and I managed to get a better job and was able to care for my family, then I lost everything including my weight and skin colour when I went on my spiritual journey. Everybody started laughing and belittling me and I somehow managed to pull myself up and got another job, I am now a single mother to three and a guardian to one and am unemployed but I'm still living in hope that I will fulfill my dreams someday and still give the best support to my children. Giving up is not an option to me and I'm hoping that my story will touch even if its one woman and just remind her that she is a rock. Thank you.
