On Saturday I attended a trailblazer event that was held in our campus. It was quite an impactful event where we got to listen to changemakers from Kenya ,Ghana and Nigeria.Women who did not let the situations they found themselves in limit them but were instead inspired to be the change they wanted to see and take charge in creating a better world. As each speaker told us their story and the little nuggets they picked up along the way ,we could relate to their stories.Which would make us get a bit tear eyed , feeling inspired and motivated to make a difference in our own communities.
For example, one of the speakers shared her journey of starting a non-profit organization that provides education and resources to underprivileged children in her community. She spoke about the challenges she faced and the moments of doubt she experienced, but her passion for helping others drove her to keep pushing forward.
Another speaker talked about her work in advocating for women's rights and empowerment. She shared stories of the women she has helped and the impact she has made in her community.
The trailblazer event was a reminder that we all have the potential to make a difference in the world. It was a call to action to step out of our comfort zones, challenge the status quo, and be the change we wish to see. As I left the event, I felt a renewed sense of purpose and determination . I am grateful for the opportunity to have heard these incredible women's stories and am excited to see where their trailblazing paths will lead them next.
