The sack planting method is an innovative solution to the challenges posed by limited land space, soil degradation, and water scarcity, while also enhancing productivity in smallholder farming.
Project Objectives:
To introduce sack planting as a sustainable and innovative solution for smallholder youth and women farmers.
To increase the agricultural productivity of youth and women farmers through better land and resource management.
To provide youth and women with training on the sack planting technique for various crops (e.g., tomatoes, vegetables, cassava and yam).
To promote sustainable farming practices, including efficient water usage, organic farming, and soil conservation.
To enhance the economic empowerment of youth and women by improving crop yields and access to markets.
