Transforming Communities through the economic empowerment of low-income women

Story
It has been a while I have posted on World Pulse, because I and my team have been quite busy transforming local communities in Lagos, through the empowerment of low-income women with different FREE vocational skills.
These women in different communities since last year have been trained on skills, that will help them generate livelihood income and increase household income.
The FREE trainings were made possible, through our recent partnership with the US Consulate in Lagos.
We have had tremendous testimonies from these women, who with our help have started their businesses and can now feed and educate their children.
Recently a financial organization gave 23 of the women we have trained so far, business grants to grow their businesses.

For me it has been a dream come true, getting people and organizations to buy into my dream of uplifting poor women out of poverty.
I believe when low-income women are economically empowered this will reduce violence in their homes.
