Under age Marriages

Today I came across a Social Media post of a Neighbor sharing how a 16yr old girl is married to an over age man in their village. The 16yr old girl commented and expressed her view that she was not forded, her man takes care of her refuses to go home.

It dawned on me that the young lady is inlove with the material things from the relationship but not with the man but she is too young to understand her feelings or even the dynamics of being blinded by material.

We can do more in our communities to teach young ladies about love and self-care. In a world filled with Glitz and glam it is so easy for young girls to fall into the trap of money and soft life.
