Understanding of an Elderly Man

It was drizzling outside with light blowing of cool wind.
Most of those people came out gathered around a small tea stall.
In such a cool weather sipping tea is really enjoyable exactly what the people were doing.
I was walking by the tea stall but could not pass away. I stopped.
Reason behind my stoppage was words of an elderly man.
I could not remember I have ever seen this man before.
It can be assumed according to his appearance that he would be above 60 years but still energetic especially in speaking or talking.
Holding a cup of tea in a hand he was speaking which seemed delivering speech in a huge gathering of general people.
What he was talking might not be that much important but certainly an understanding about a fact.
He said, 'Defeat and destruction takes its root whenever and wherever persecution and injustice against women takes place.’
For an example he mentioned disparaging defeat of 9 lac well trained soldiers of the then west Pakistan in an independent war of Bangladesh in 1972.
People all over the world know this historical truth that the then well trained stronger force of west Pakistan suffered a disparaging defeat against unarmed general people of Bangladesh.
Reasons behind their defeat may be manifold but who can deny that persecution against women is one of the reasons?
It is very painful that persecutions and injustice against women are manifold and still going on all over the world.
In fact, women are also potential and able to do what men many times cannot.
Peace, stability and prosperity must take place in every family, society, country and even in the world if women are respected, honored and their rights are properly given and ensured instead of injustice and persecutions.
