VOF Week 4: (The Approach of Making Change through Pulse Wire)

Educated women already have voice to raise but what about underprivileged women? They are dumb even they have voice to speak because they are unaware about their rights. They don’t know the place to raise their voice. They don’t have anyone to support and encourage them. They don’t know about the real world.

As an individual, I do have a vision to bring equality and change in people’s lives in my community. In Nepal, urban women have accessibility for education, employment and opportunities but women in rural area are confined only in a kitchen and care their families. They don't have courage to raise their voice when they are ignored by the rest of their family. Therefore, to remove discrimination and bring equality in a patriarchy country like Nepal is not easy, but I am preparing myself to fight against every challenge that I will face in the future.

I will start from my home gradually to my community, Country and the world. I want to see women to be respected and treated equally in every sector and have power in decision making. Finally they will be independent and have equal social status. I will encourage them to spend their valuable time in effective way rather than gossiping. One effective way is to articulate the importance of making and joining groups such as women’s saving club, youth club and working together, so they will be self aware of their rights. They will be expressing their problems and finding solution by themselves.

Being a diplomat of world pulse, I want to help the underprivileged women to raise their voice to bring equality and change in their lives. It is not just raising a voice but also raising unheard voices which have been dominating since ancient period. The underprivileged women are facing many challenges. As a citizen, it’s my responsibility to let other people know about them. One possible way to release their silent scream is to collect their stories and publish. I will try my best to bring equality because I know the miserable conditions of women in my community through my experiences. I will not let any voice to go down in front of my eyes.

World pulse will offer me unlimited chances to solve gender equality and bring peace in my country. As a correspondence of world pulse, I can contact and communicate with many enlightened people and request them to launch women’s development project. I will play an active role as a volunteer in those projects in order to bring equality in my community. I am ready to do it because it is difficult to bring equality without economical support. World pulse will help to fulfill my vision because people’s view as correspondence will be different. For an instance, if I go to any women rights organizations with a case related to abuse of women rights, they will take the case seriously because of only I am a correspondent of the World pulse. I want every voice to hear, but it happened everywhere in Nepal. If any organizations neglect and ignore women because of their sex, I will raise my voice against them in world pulse and in national newspaper.

World pulse is an international online magazine, people from all around the world read it curiously to know about the updated news of women around the world. As a correspondence of world pulse, my articles will publish in international online magazine. The world will know about the hardship of women in my community that will have two main advantages. Firstly, the government will be forced to take actions about the situation. Secondly, some international organizations will be interested to launch “women development program” by hearing the miserable conditions of women in the country. My experience, as an international correspondence, will help me to find innovative solutions for my community. I will write about the existing challenges of women of my community in the pulse wire and the members with the same interest will leave comments as their opinion and I will decide the appropriate one and try to implement it.

Finally I will be able to say proudly “I am a correspondent of international online magazine, World Pulse.”
