VOF week 5 and beyond!

Our Dearest Voices of Our Future Applicants,

Do you remember the time when this group was pulsing with voices, bursting at the seams with excitement and anticipation? We do! PulseWire was created for your voice and we have missed your presence these past few weeks!

Our editorial team is still scanning the site, looking for breaking stories, fresh editorial perspectives, and the poetry and vision of your unique voice. The fun did not stop with the application process. We can not wait to continue on this journey with you!

We invite you to harness the enthusiasm that just weeks ago was causing this group to burst at the seams and use it to propel each of us into the future. Let’s use this group to continue building the skills and support to launch your visions, stories and voices into the world.

With resounding clarity you told us that you did not want this group to end. We heard you when you shared the delight at having your voice heard, the thrill of learning new skills, and the desire to share and support each other. Throughout the application process, our team in Portland gushed with delight as we read your entries and witnessed voices and friendships blossoming. This, we thought, is exactly why we created PulseWire.

Thank you for showing us what the living embodiment of PulseWire looks like.

Therefore, and without further adieu, it is with great excitement that I unveil the evolution of the Voices of Our Future Applicants Group to you.

To encourage continued learning and dialogue, a number of our VOF runner-ups have agreed to take on two- week “teaching” positions within this group. They will play a similar role to the World Pulse VOF team during the application process by posting new learning material and writing prompts for the group to respond and discuss. Every 4 weeks, I will pop in to do a quick week of PulseWire specific training. The calender in the coming weeks is as follows:

Starting in September, we will begin a new calender, including anyone else in the group who would like to take a leadership role for two weeks. We are still open to suggestions and I will post more information in the next few days. We just wanted to let you know that we still think about you every day and are planning ways to raise your voices to the world!
