Voices of Our Future Countdown

Dear Voices of Our Future Applicants,

The countdown has begun! There is less than one day left until we close the Voices of Our Future Applicants group and the journey on the frontiers of new media begins!

To fully embrace the global diversity of our applicants, we will close this group to new members on March 14, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. HST. To confirm what time this is in your city or country, please visit the World Time Clock: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

As of yesterday afternoon, there were over 450 members in the Voices of Our Future Applicants group! We have already witnessed a beautiful chorus of voices rising from the pages of PulseWire!

Here is what you can expect over the next week:

Monday, March 16 2009 by 12:00 p.m. noon PST
The kick off! Applicants will receive a welcome letter from World Pulse as well as a request for confirmation that you are indeed applying to be a Correspondent. Because we have so many applicants, we will be removing non-applicants from this group to minimize confusion.

The main purpose of this group over the next month will be to post weekly content and assignments, provide updates, and provide space for questions and answers about the application process.

Wednesday, March 18, 2009 by 12:00 p.m. noon PST
The journey truly begins. We will post the training content, editorial assignment, and instructions for week one.

The wonderful benefit online process, such as this one, provides is flexibility. Within the dates and times given, each of you will be able to fit this application process into your already busy schedules and make it work for you. We, of course, will be eager for feedback each week, so we can rapidly make adjustments and tweaks as necessary.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to post them here.

With Love,

Jennifer and the World Pulse Team
