Welcome to the Human Trafficking discussion group

Dear All,

A warm welcome to the human trafficking discussion group. So glad to see you all here. As you know PulseWire is creating a space for women, and men supporting women, around to world to come together to voice perspectives, exchange resources and share solutions on three key topic areas initially: human trafficking, HIV/AIDS and water sustainability.

As someone who has worked on the area of advocacy and outreach around the issue of human trafficking, I have decided to kick-start conversations in this topic area. We already have some experts here in this group and I am sure we will have many more join us as PulseWire grows. I invite you to add your voices in making our conversations rich and vibrant. Do feel free to invite your colleagues, community and friends working on any of the above three issues to PulseWire, and also those working in the area of human trafficking to join this group.

I am sure that all of us have found that there is a need today to consolidate efforts and share information to get a better grasp on the scope of the problem of human trafficking in order to respond to it better. I hope this group will go some way towards creating a discussion forum.

So welcome!

Btw, I had posted earlier about the South Asian conference on human trafficking being held in New Delhi. Link to the post below:

It's happening as we speak. Anyone headed there or know anyone attending? It would be great to get a first person account.
In solidarity,
Ramya
