Welicious Reusable Pad Project to end period poverty in Cameroon

Day #2

Period poverty is one of the major challenges in achieving good Menstrual Hygiene especially in developing countries.

Access to sanitary products, sanitation infrastructure especially clean water, safe hygienic spaces and the right to manage menstruation without shame or stigma, is essential for anyone who menstruates.

Welisane Foundation is working on its Reusable Pad Project to be launched on the 28th of May with the aim of reducing Period Poverty in Cameroon. You can be part of this project by sharing your expertise, volunteering or donating reusable kits to less privilege girls.

Menstruation is a universal female biological experience.
No woman or girl should be held back because of her period.
