World Pulse is your place to sound off on the issues impacting your life and your communities.
This May, we're sharing our period stories ahead of Menstrual Hygiene Day; reflecting on moments of hope; and honoring 20 years of World Pulse. Add your voice to the conversation for a chance to receive a Story Award or Featured Initiative Award! The World Pulse team is looking for fresh, new voices and initiatives to amplify. It could be you!
Here's what we're talking about this month:
Menstrual Hygiene Day
In every country, menstruation comes with taboos and stigma. Managing menstruation with dignity, across cultures, socio-economic status, abilities, and even gender, can be a remarkable challenge. On World Pulse, we're raising our voices and sharing our menstruation stories to change the narrative. Add your voice to the conversation for a chance to win a Story Award. You can also share a project or campaign you're working on as an "Initiative" for a chance to be selected for a Featured Initiative Award! Learn more or share now.
Moments of Hope
Sometimes the challenges we face as a global community can seem insurmountable, but all around us are people, moments, and experiences that sustain us and give us the courage to keep going. On World Pulse, we're sharing stories that inspire us and fill us with hope. Learn more or share now.
World Pulse at 20: Tell Us What World Pulse Means to You
World Pulse turns 20 this year! From a seed of an idea to an award-winning magazine, to a first-of-its-kind digital platform for social change, these last two decades have brought transformative change on a scale we could never have dreamt of. Whether you are a long-time member or new to the World Pulse community, share a story to commemorate this moment. We’ll highlight powerful submissions as part of our 20th anniversary celebration later this year! Learn more or share now.
