When your mountain seems too big, have faith and believe it will move.

There are days in life when we feel down. We hopelessly tend to cry. My life is a long story. Well, an entire life may not fit to script to exhaust. When I finished high school, I had no hope to continue to college. That is what I thought. Throughout, I wished for better days ahead .It was tough but who was I to rule my being. Trust in God.

In 2005 my life began, to venture into life. I had so much hope. Though the place I came from signaled poverty, but my mind felt otherwise; enthusiastic and patient. I denied myself the fact that, things will never change. However, I always wondered how? How would I live a life different from any other? My friends lost their ways and got married. Others ended in prostitution to make easy money.

They were young and they were illiterate. I never stopped to keep on keeping on despite all sorts of challenges. Life without education is a stumbling block to a bright future. Nevertheless, it can be a stepping stone to prove against norm. If faith can move a mountain; then life can still go on with nothing to peruse. Yes, it was my certificate that made me worry. I had not cleared my school fees.

Life is not easy, that is what people say. However, that was not my case. I left home to go to work in the capital city (Nairobi). Remember, God neither sleeps nor slumber for His chosen ones. In 2007, the government allowed all students to collect their certificates. “The magic power of believing" a saying goes. I benefited among many and my life was to change.

One year later I joined a college. In college I chose accounting as an option, but did computers as an additional advantage. I met many friends. Some of them were members of a group called “non-violence communication” based in the city, they learned on how to solve issues and problems amongst people in especially conflicts and bring peace. I thought it was fit for my personal growth and development.

I met their sponsor early this year (2011). She is from Germany, and she had come for training in Kenya. I also took the opportunity to attend. Subsequently, she continued to share with us online. Through an e-mail, she sent us a link to world pulse. I liked it, and immediately I applied.

Therefore, my vision is to make an impact on women around the world. More so, women who think they can never make it. My intention is to help women to put back their shoulders, to fold their sleeves, to put a smile on each face, to rub their backs and to lead them to a better tomorrow.

We (women) will still cry, but sometimes we can cry out tears of joy. To shade a tear, and to tell a story with joy and with laughter, that all is well only if we believe.
