Why is it that most people still think women are not capable of certain things, particularly when it comes to leadership?

Some factors that sustain this misconception are cultural norms and stereotypes that have persisted for so long.

In this day and age, we know very well that this is not true. Many women are now capable of doing things that women from 30 years ago wouldn't have considered, depending on different communities and cultures. This is because these women feel there is more to their responsibilities than simply conforming to what stereotypes dictate about who they should be and what their capabilities are limited to.

Gender-based violence is something men often don't even think twice about, regardless of a woman's age, whether young or old. Even thinking about this is deeply frustrating. A woman, a mother, is striving, doing all she can to provide for her children, but even when she is professionally qualified for a certain position in a company or organization, a man may still abuse her anyway. Women are going through a lot—some find the courage to speak up, but some don't. This is really sad. I want to leave a message for the men who do this: Would you do that to a woman you love? For you to fulfill something that is actually your responsibility, does she have to do something for you first, in exchange? Come on, have some shame and self-respect.

To the women who have gone through this, I am so sorry. But if you love yourself and your children, you’ve got to speak up, at least for them, if not for yourself. By doing so, you may prevent them from going through what you did.

All in all, I wish you all healing and the very best on this new journey.

Love y'all...and

God bless.
